CANDHI is a Central American regional initiatiative that aims to reduce the ocurrence and impact of disasters by freely disseminating information about how to prevent and respond to disasters and emergencies, public health, sustainable development topics, and other areas of knowledge that can play a role in preventing and managing disasters and emergencies. Our network is a collaborative effort of information centers and libraries that collect, organize and disseminate information about disasters and health.

Among the resources available in our information network are:

• Full-text digital documents about prevention, response, mitigation, and all aspects of disaster management.
• Bibliographical databases of disaster-related publications.
